Choose a skillion (flat) or insulated roof, pick your size, and we deliver it to your door across the metro area. Prefer not to build it yourself? We can install it for you instead.

Be realistic about a DIY build
A kit build is well within reach for a confident DIYer with a helper, basic tools and a level slab. You will still need to check whether your project requires a building permit (this depends on size, council and location) and arrange any footings or slab work yourself. If that sounds like more than you want to take on, we will quote to install the kit for you, or build you a full custom patio or carport instead.

What is included in a patio kit?
Australian-made Colorbond steel framing, roofing, all fixings, your choice of colour, a step-by-step guide, and metro delivery. It does not include installation, permits, or slab and footing work.
Do I need a building permit to install a kit myself?
Often, yes, and it depends on the size, your council and the location. On the Gold Coast any size structure generally needs building approval; in Victoria there are limited exemptions for small structures. The permit is your responsibility on a DIY kit, though we can point you in the right direction, or handle it if we install for you.
How hard is a kit to install?
Manageable for a confident DIYer with a helper and basic tools, provided you have a level slab. The guide walks you through it. If you are not comfortable working at height or with steel, ask us about installation.
Where do you deliver, and what does delivery cost?
Delivery to metro addresses is included in the listed prices. For addresses outside metro, contact us for a delivery quote.
Can you install the kit for me?
Yes. If you like the kit value but would rather not build it, we can supply and install. Ask for an installed price when you enquire.
Is there a warranty on the kits?
The Colorbond steel carries BlueScope's product warranty. Contact us for the current kit warranty terms, which differ from the 10-year structural warranty on our full installed builds.
